2015 Season – RECYCLE RUSH
Game Description: RECYCLE RUSH is a recycling-themed game played by two Alliances of three robots each. Robots score points by stacking totes on scoring platforms, capping those stacks with recycling containers, and properly disposing of pool noodles, representing litter. In keeping with the recycling theme of the game, all game pieces used are reusable or recyclable by teams in their home locations or by FIRST at the end of the season

Robot Description: Team 237’s robot was built on an 8 wheel drive cantilevered shaft drive system which was powered by dual speed transmissions. Mounted to the robot were two different types of elevator systems. The first was used during the autonomous part of the match that would take possession of all of the garbage cans that were located in the center of the field. During the match, the front elevator system would grab totes to make stacks of totes on the scoring platforms or would grab garbage cans to cap stacks of totes.
